چکیده

Breast cancer is the most widespread malignancy in women worldwide. Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) have proven effective treatment of cancer. NLCs loaded with imatinib (IMA) (NANIMA) were prepared and evaluated for their vitro efficacy MCF-7 breast cells. The hot homogenization method was used preparation NANIMAs. An aqueous solution surfactants (hot) mixed a molten mixture stearic acid sesame oil under homogenization. NANIMAs characterized size, polydispersity index, zeta potential, encapsulation efficiency, release studies, stability MTT assay (cytotoxicity studies). optimized revealed particle size 104.63 ± 9.55 d.nm, PdI 0.227 0.06, EE 99.79 0.03. All slow sustained behavior. exhibited effects on studies. cytotoxicity studies unveiled an 8.75 times increase (IC50 = 6 µM) when compared to IMA alone 52.5 In future, containing will possibly be employed cure A small amount into better than Moreover, patients likely exhibit less adverse case alone. Consequently, could prove useful treatment.

Zerumbone-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers: preparation, characterization, and antileukemic effect

Zerumbone, a natural dietary lipophilic compound with low water solubility (1.296 mg/L at 25°C) was used in this investigation. The zerumbone was loaded into nanostructured lipid carriers using a hot, high-pressure homogenization technique. The physicochemical properties of the zerumbone-loaded nanostructured lipid carriers (ZER-NLC) were determined. The ZER-NLC particles had an average size of...

Formulation Optimization and Evaluation of Nanostructured Lipid Carriers Containing Valsartan

Nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs), a lipid based colloidal carrier system, offer many advantages such as increase the solubility, improves the bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy. Incorporation of liquid lipid can improve the drug loading capacity in the NLCs. Valsartan is an antihypertensive drug with low oral bioavailability ranging from 10-35% because of poor solubility and extensive...

Preparation, characterization, and in vivo pharmacokinetics of nanostructured lipid carriers loaded with oleanolic acid and gentiopicrin

BACKGROUND The purpose of this work was to develop nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) loaded simultaneously with oleanolic acid and gentiopicrin. METHODS An aqueous dispersion of NLCs was prepared successfully using a film-ultrasonic method, with glycerin monostearate as the solid lipid and oleic acid as the liquid lipid. Poloxamer 188 was used as the surfactant. A central composite design ...

Nanostructured Lipid Drug Carriers

solid lipid carriers – NLC. Particulate lipid matrices in the form of lipid pellets are known from the textbooks since many years, products are on the market (e. g. Mucosolvan retard, Boehringer-Ingelheim). After these lipid pellets as the first generation, P. Speiser developed so-called “lipid nanopellets for oral administration” in the middle of the eighties [1]. This system was not further d...

Solid Lipid Nanoparticles and Nanostructured Lipid Carriers: Structure, Preparation and Application.

Lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) have attracted special interest during last few decades. Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) and nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs) are two major types of Lipid-based nanoparticles. SLNs were developed to overcome the limitations of other colloidal carriers, such as emulsions, liposomes and polymeric nanoparticles because they have advantages like good release profile ...
